Our R&D activities cover a wide range of E-powertrains from hybrid-electric over battery electric to fuel cell electric powertrains. We are engaged in R&D activities on the component level and on the system level since the optimization on the system level is crucial for achieving high energy efficiency and low exhaust emissions (for non-zero emission vehicles). We are very active in the modeling area of complex multi-domain simulations of E-powertrains and in the experimental area including prototyping that already resulted in a prototype hybrid-powertrain for marine application and a prototype electric vehicle.
