ADVANCED AIR/GAS PATH SYSTEMS

Advanced Air/Gas Path Systems are one of the key enablers for increased specific power and thus for downsizing and potential downspeeding of the engines. We are focused in R&D of advanced turbo/supercharging systems/topologies including electrically assisted chargers. Simulation and experimental activities cover thermodynamic and emission characterization in stationary and transient operating conditions including engine-dyno and real-world characterization. In addition, we are focusing on enhancements of engine performance through establishing and optimizing interaction between the gas path and thermal regulations systems.
